Plans for a new facility are on the way. Raynham Park and Caesars Sportsbook have agreed to a partnership that will see the sports betting operator open a 30,000-square-foot retail sportsbook at the simulcast racing facility.
According to a Caesars , Caesars Sportsbook and Raynham Park are making plans for a temporary sportsbook inside the current simulcasting facility before beginning construction on a standalone sportsbook. All of this is contingent on approval from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC).
Retail and Online Sports Betting at Raynham Park
If approved by the MGC, construction will begin on a standalone 30,000-square-foot sportsbook at Raynham Park, which will be one of the largest standalone sports betting and pari-mutuel simulcasting facilities in the country.

Retail Sports Betting on Its Way
Massachusetts retail sports betting is a little more than a week out, as the state will launch on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. Raynham Park s retail sportsbook will not be ready to launch next week, a Caesars representative confirmed.
The state s three casinos, Plainridge Park Casino, Encore Boston Harbor, and MGM Springfield, will be able to open their retail sportsbooks on Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m., two weeks ahead of Super Bowl LVII.
The MGC has issued Category 1 retail sports betting licenses to all three casinos in the last month. Plainridge Park Casino has partnered with to run its retail facility, Encore Boston Harbor has partnered with WynnBET to run its retail sportsbook, and MGM Springfield has partnered with to run its retail sportsbook.
Each sportsbook will undergo a soft launch on Monday, Jan. 30, with only staff and invited guests allowed to place bets at each sportsbook. If everything goes well, a full launch for each sportsbook will then commence on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
Each Massachusetts Gaming Commissioner will attend a different sportsbook s soft launch event and sign off on the facility if everything passes muster.
